The inaugural MITIE conference in QLD was held at St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace, on 28th September 2018.

The college's Director of ICT, Matthew Gausden was elected to the MITIE Steering Committee in July 2018 and shortly after volunteered to host our inaugural Queensland term conference.

The Terrace ICT team, including a number of Matthew's family who came along to assist, showed the energy and commitment that made the day the success it was for the 103 delegates.

It was interesting to see that the event attracted delegates not only from Brisbane, but from other areas of Queensland and from interstate.

The day was rated very well by the 22 delegates who completed the feedback form.

As usual delegate's feedback on how the day could have been improved was constructive and will help us to improve future events. Some examples:

The drop in sessions in the afternoon were very informative, it was a shame they were separate and at the end of the day.
