The inaugural MITIE/TISIT term  conference was held at The Friends' School Hobart Tasmania on 9th July 2018. 

The Friends' School were generous not only in hosting of this inaugural event, but in funding the catering for the 60 delegates.

Duncan Gillespie, Director of ICT at the Friends School and Hal Douglas, I.T. Manager at Marist Regional College in Bernie were the driving force behind this very successful day.

After the event it was agreed that we should hold another joint MITIE/TISIT event  in 2019.
