TAS: Workshop for ICT Mentors

On Tuesday, 9 July 2019, we will kick off the MITIE Mentoring Program with a one day workshop hosted at St Mary's College, Hobart.

The workshop for mentors will commence at 9am and conclude by around 3:30pm. By the end of the day, participants can expect to have developed an understanding of:

• what makes a good mentoring relationship
• what you bring to the mentor/mentee relationship in terms of technical and leadership skills and experience
• your responsibilities as a mentor throughout the program.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided and there is no cost for the day. If you have any special dietary requirements, please email nathan.mares@mitie.edu.au.

Our facilitator, Lynne Stone, is a former Headmistress of St Catherine’s School in Waverley, Sydney. She has worked as the National Partnerships Coordinator at AISNSW where she led mentoring programs for school leaders. She also has experience sitting on a number of school boards. She currently works as a School Leadership, Staff Development and Career Planning Consultant, providing individual coaching and mentoring to school leaders, and delivers presentations and workshops on managing change, staff development and school improvement.
